The 24-year-old French centre-back has recently been lauded as one of the most fashionable footballers in the world.
Months before Kounde’s move to Barcelona in the summer of 2022, the former Sevilla star often impressed with his stylish outfits off the pitch.
Kounde’s unique and bold outfits has now seen him grace the cover of one of France’s most prominent lifestyle magazines - GQ Hype.

This week, the Barcelona defender was unveiled as the latest cover star of the weekly edition of France’s GQ Hype.
For the cover of the latest edition, Kounde wears a Dior Men’s Coat, shirts, pants and rains boot alongside a Prada Tie.
GQ announced the new cover featuring Kounde on Instagram with a caption that read:
“At 24, he is one of the most talented French footballers of his generation. In addition to a brilliant career on the pitch between FC Barcelona and the National team, the young adidas ambassador has also become a key player for style inspiration. Meet the new emperor of fashion: Jules Koundé.”
In the latest magazine, Kounde opens up about his liberal and very expressive fashion style as well as his personality and influences off the pitch.
In his interview with GQ Hype, Kounde his style as “Streetwear” cited Junya Watanabe, Colm Dillane of KidSuper, Virgil Abloh, and Pharell Williams amongst his influences.

Having helped Barcelona win the 2022-23 LaLiga EASPORTS title in his debut season, Kounde has since established himself as a crucial member of Xavi’s team.
The 24-year-old featured 29 times for Barcelona in their title winning campaign scoring once and creating three assists.
This Frenchman also helped Les Blues reach the finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, although they lost on penalties to eventual winners Argentina.
So far this season, Kounde has featured four times and scored once for the Blaugrana in LaLiga.
