The referee was forced to intervene, issuing red cards to Galatasaray’s Kerem Demirbay and Yilmaz, as well as Fenerbahce’s Hakan Yandas.

Despite being a man down, Galatasaray held firm to secure a thrilling victory and book their place in the semi-finals of the Turkish Cup, with Osimhen’s performance proving pivotal.

Previously, he had been tied with Al-Fayha’s Henry Onyekuru at 5.7 million, but this latest triumph firmly places Osimhen ahead.

Since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, Osimhen has seen his follower count grow by an impressive 1.4 million, proving his influence extends far beyond the pitch.

With Galatasaray marching toward the Turkish Cup semifinals and Osimhen’s star power only rising, the Super Eagles ‘King’ is well and truly cementing his throne in both football and the ever-evolving world of social media.
