The Spanish attacking sensation shared the fascinating story behind his expensive Porsche.
Nico Williams has opened up on an extravagant purchase he made after winning Euro 2024 with Spain.
The 22-year-old Athletic Bilbao star copped a brand-new Porsche 911 GT3, valued at €220,000 (approximately ₦400 million).
However, this luxury acquisition came with an unexpected stipulation as Williams sought and received permission from his mother before sealing the deal.

Known for his humble nature, Williams explained that his relationship with his family influences his choices.
In an interview with El Mundo, he said:
“I had to work hard for it. I won a bet that my brother and I had with my mother’s permission. If I won the Eurocup, they would give me permission to buy the car.”
At just 22, Williams had been driving a “normal car” for years, making this new purchase a significant milestone in his career.
“In the end I bought it when I was 22, I've been driving a normal car for a long time. It's a prize that I wanted for a long time because I love cars, but they made me work hard for it, as it should be.”
His decision to wait for approval demonstrates not only respect for his family's guidance but also a grounded approach to newfound wealth.
“I really think I’m the same person I’ve always been,” Williams added, emphasizing that the success and accolades have not changed him.
As Williams enjoys his luxurious new ride, he remains focused on his career at Athletic Club.
