Gerard Pique has since moved on from his split with Colombian singer Shakira.
The breakup started when Pique was rumoured to have cheated on the singer after she went on a trip.
Shakira was apparently informed of her ex's adultery by discovering an empty jam jar in their refrigerator.
Regarding the developing documentary, Spanish journalist Laura Fa said as reported by the Sun, "I think it will be about the drama she's gone through and it will be called. The cheating and me. It will be the Bizarrap song in documentary form."
Another Journalist and Shakira expert Lorena Vasquez added, "It’s clear Shakira is recording graphic material for an audiovisual project, a documentary or a documentary-style reality.
"It seems nowadays like if you’re a famous person and you haven’t got your own documentary-style reality, you’re nobody."
Shakira's trial in Barcelona on Monday, when she was accused of tax fraud, prompted many to assume that she would be filming something new.
Additionally, she was allegedly seen yesterday leaving Barcelona's El Prat to catch a flight back to Miami, accompanied by two cameramen with "Film Crew" bibs.
