After unfollowing him on Instagram, Wanda Nara announces she is divorcing Icardi for the second time in 2 years.
Wanda Nara has finally confirmed rumours that had been swirling for weeks.
Pulse Sports reports that this Wednesday, the 37-year-old model and influencer took to social media to officially confirm her decision to divorce Galatasaray striker Mauro Icardi, yet again, after unfollowing him on Instagram.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a message to her 16.9 million followers that read:

“With how difficult endings are and how much they cost me. I have to turn on the TV or see versions on the networks that are not real. But I accept it because it is part of what is bad, of who I am. I decided to separate but we will not stop being family with Mauro.

“Trying a thousand times more when there is love was not a mistake either. I don't regret anything, I gave that couple the best years of my life, but today I have to remain alone.
“There are no culprits or third parties, ours was always stronger than what was external. My priority was always my children and today more than ever. Thanks for the respect”

Two months later, Nara and Icardi were back together, before once again splitting a month later.

Their on-again, off-again relationship continued with both spouses forced to reconcile in 2023 after accusing Icardi of having an affair with amongst others, an actress named China Suarez.

López and Nara have three sons, Valentino Gastón López Nara (born on 25 January 2009), Constantino López Nara (born on 18 December 2010) and Benedicto López Nara (born on 20 February 2012).
Not long after her divorce Nara, with her sons, left Italy to return to Buenos Aires and began a relationship with Mauro Icardi.
Icardi knew Nara during his friendship with López when they played during the 2012–13 Serie A in the same team.

During the April 2014 Serie A match between Lopez's Sampdoria and Icardi's Inter, López notably refused to shake Icardi's hand, leading the international press to dub the game Wanda Derby.
