The Eastern Motorsport Club Jinja Rally will take place from July 7th to 9th in Jinja City.

There will be more cash to be won this weekend as Jinja City welcomes the Eastern Motorsport Club rally.

The national rally championship event will take place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th in Jinja City.

The rally has been split into seven sections, with six of them named after Mbarara City Motorsport Club and local investor and rally driver Joshua Muwanguzi.

“I love this sport and happy that the Eastern Motosport has recognized my efforts by naming one section in my honour,” Joshua Muwanguzi told Pulse Sports during an interview.

“I’m going to award cash prizes to anyone who will win those particular sections and if I win them, then the one who finishes with the second-best time will take home the cash and trophy,” he added.

The rally will start on Saturday morning with the Mbarara City Rally Club section that will run from Lwanda on Kamuli Road to Nsozi Biiri near Kakira. This section has a total of 18.85 kms.

The second stage, named the Joshua Muwanguzi section, will start from the same point to the famous Wandago brewing village in Magamaga for another 27.03 kms before the cars head to Bujagali falls for the super special stage.

On Sunday, the cars will repeat the MCRC stage twice and then the Muwanguzi stage once before switching off the engines.

Mbarara City has also offered cash prizes for the winner of the three MCRC sections combined.
