“It is my intention to move into a more powerful car, starting next season,” Pasuwa said, adding; “I will stop at nothing to make that ambition come true.”

“I am not yet sure what type of car it will be. I am definitely in the market for a new one, and I can confirm that it will be a four-wheel drive car.”

Despite racing with a Toyota Corolla FX GT, Pasuwa has consistently demonstrated his mettle by keeping up with drivers commanding much more powerful cars in the NRC.

A testament to his skill and determination, Pasuwa recently won the 2WD category at the weekend event, clocking a time of 1:46:13.49 to cover a 144km distance.

This feat puts him in a notable position in the season's leaderboard. Pasuwa stands in fourth place with a collected 184 points, close behind Ronald Ssebuguzi (190 points) and Duncan Mubiru Kikankane (233 points), who race in Ford Fiesta Protos.

Yasin Nasser currently leads the NRC title race with 398 points.
