2022 2WD Drive turbo champion Qahir Rahim and veteran Ian Duncan will be the among the drivers to watch at Saturday’s Kenya National Autocross Championship in Kasarani.
Excitement is brewing as the Kenya National Autocross Championship gears up for its fourth round, set to take place at Kasarani on Saturday.
Among the star attractions are the reigning 2022 2WD Drive Turbo champion Qahir Rahim, legendary Ian Duncan and the promising rising star Neel Gohil.
Drivers from across the country will converge to battle it out for top honours in various race categories across four heats, with the best of three rule determining the final standings.

Kenyan junior Hamza Anwar finished third at the ARC Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally and he is delighted with the progress he is making.
One of the highlights of the event will be the participation of Duncan, who has entered two cars, a formidable Attacker Buggy and the iconic Ford Capri classic car.
Meanwhile, Rahim is determined to bounce back from recent disappointments and has pledged to give his all on Saturday, vowing to go "flat out" behind the wheel of his buggy contraption.
"I am looking forward to this weekend’s autocross. It will be an exciting weekend after a one-month break. The team has put in a great effort to bring the buggy back up to speed. Asante sana. Wishing all competitors the absolute best this weekend. It’s head down and foot down from here," said Rahim.

Kenya’s Karan Patel earns high praise from Ugandan rival after Pearl of Africa Rally win
Kenyan driver Karan Patel has been lauded by his Ugandan rival driver Jas Mangat for showing great quality as he claimed his maiden Pearl of Africa Rally win in Jinja last weekend.
"The buggy developed a few ECU and mechanical issues over the past two races. But we stay positive and continue putting in the effort. Once again, kudos to Shazco aka coach, Imran and the team for the great support and positive spirit.”
In the midst of the action, Gohil will be looking to showcase his skills in his newly-upgraded Subaru. Although still adapting to the vehicle, Gohil is eager to push its limits and identify areas for improvement as he competes in the Open Class.
"Besides that exams are still ongoing until next week and no major plans for the year, we will take one event at a time as opportunity and circumstances allow," said Gohil.
