Renowned as one of the toughest rallies globally, the WRC Safari Rally holds a special place in the hearts of rally enthusiasts both locally and worldwide.
President Ruto, recognising the significance of the event, welcomed top drivers to Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley, describing it as an incomparably beautiful destination and the first home of humankind.

As the Safari Rally nears, Kenya has engaged the high gear in as far as preparations are concerned with every detail put in place ahead of Thursday’s rev off.
"This Easter weekend, I join the people of Kenya to welcome top WRC Safari Rally drivers to Naivasha, in the Great Rift Valley, an incomparable beautiful destination in magical Kenya, the first home of humankind,” said Ruto.
“We are honoured to host the world's toughest motor rallying contest, a captivating showpiece, where human ingenuity and endurance, breathtaking rugged terrain and the epitome of automotive engineering excellence are stretched to the limit in the epic struggle that is the WRC Safari Rally.”
Emphasising the government's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all participants, President Ruto reassured every rally fan of the stringent measures put in place by relevant government agencies.
