Yasin Nasser and Ali Katumba have won the Fortbet Real Stars Sports Monthly Award for the second straight month in the Rally category.
The Team Moil crew were awarded in May after they came out top of the Pearl of Africa Rally in Jinja, the third round of the Africa Rally Championship.
They were nominated again for the June award alongside the Ponsiano Lwakataka/Paul Musaazi crews and Ibrahim Lubega/Geoffrey Sserwoga.
Clinching the accolade was inevitable for the pair after winning the Kabalega Rally to take control of the National Rally Championship with 290 points, 57 points ahead of the crew of Duncan Mubiru and Joseph Bongole with 233 points.
In Hoima, Nasser and Katumba registered the shortest time of 1:13.2.45 for the competitive 113 kilometres.

Besides Rally, five other categories were rewarded at the awarding ceremony at Lazio Restaurant in Kololo, Kampala, on Tuesday morning.
Outstanding performers in Cricket, Table Tennis, Handball, Special Olympics, and Motorcross were also rewarded.
As the Uganda Cricket Cranes won the inaugural Continental T20 Cup in Nairobi, Kenya, Henry Ssenyondo was man of the match four times as he collected 18 wickets.
That was enough for him to beat teammate Raziat Ali Shah and Victoria Pearls’ captain Consy Aweko to the award in the Cricket category.
Parvin Nangonzi won the award in the Table Tennis category after winning the Korea Friendship Championship in Lugogo, where she defeated her compatriot Shanita Namaala 2-0.
She shrugged off competition from Benjamin Achuma and Samuel Ankunda to win her second Fortebet Real Stars Sports Award. Her first came in March.
On the other hand, UPDF’s goalkeeper Edmond Omonyi was victorious in the Handball category. Omonyi had 51 saves, three assists, and one steal.
Omonyi beat off competition from teammate Umar Isa and Kyengeza’s Joyce Patience Namutosi to win the award.
Meanwhile, Larry Feni, who competed in the 50m breaststroke and 25m freestyle championship at the Special Olympic Games in Berlin, was rewarded for his stunning showcase in Germany.
Uganda registered five medals in total, and three gold medals were won by Feni hence shrugging off competition from Cleopatra Rhababa and Praise Odoi, who competed in Table Tennis and Swimming, respectively and won Silver and Bronze.
In Motorcross, it was a performance of father-like son when Gift Ssebuguuzi, son of driver Ronald Ssebuguuzi emerged as the victor.
The young one was brilliant at the fifth round of the Mountain Dew National Motorcross Championship in Garuga, collecting maximum points in his category of CC 85.
Helen Burungi and Miguel Katende are the Juniors Ssebuguuzi beat to the Real Stars Sports Award for June in the Motorcross category.
