She Cranes coach Fred Mugerwa will be guiding the Uganda to their fourth, their third straight and his first, he describe it as a milestone.

"The tournament presents a tremendous opportunity for Africans to witness it live, and it will be a great boost for the sport," Mugerwa told Pulse Sports.

"South Africa is not too far away, and I believe that a number of Ugandans will make the journey to support us during our games, which was not always possible in previous tournaments," he added.

The She Cranes are in Group D alongside world champions New Zealand, Singapore together with Trinidad and Tobago.
