The She Cranes, Uganda's national netball team who have already touched base in the mother city, are set to appear at their fourth World Cup.
"As a unit, we are in a good place as we need to work on a few things, and we just need to keep our heads up," she added.
The She Cranes defeated Barbados 54-33 in a practice match on Sunday, and Nuba believes the team will use it to further prepare for the tournament.
"We have so far had one practice match, and we will use it to work on certain areas and also work on our strengths which will prepare us further for the tournament," she noted
Next for the She Cranes is their final preparation match with Scotland scheduled for Wednesday.
The She Cranes open up their campaign against Singapore on Friday while also playing New Zealand and Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
