"It's looking good, the girls are well trained, and it's very good that we have reunited again, and we've had a bit of practice on what we can do as a team."

Ahead of the first of three Test Serie matches against Wales, Uganda Netball goal shooter Mary Nuba Cholhok is optimistic the team can put up a character-filled show for victory.

The She Cranes play Wales later on Wednesday at the House of Sports in Cardiff before the other matches on Friday and Saturday.

"It's looking good, the girls are well trained, and it's very good that we have reunited again, and we've had a bit of practice on what we can do as a team."

"But we should expect a very competitive game because Wales is a very good team; they'll have the crowd, so we have to bring our A game," she summed.

Meanwhile, head coach Fred Mugerwa is as buoyant, asserting the team's readiness to compete for victory on the evening.

"We are ready for that game tonight. They (Wales) are on home ground and have the home support, but we're taking the match seriously such that we don't lose."

After the final match against Wales on Saturday, the She Cranes will battle it out with England, New Zealand, and Australia for the Vitality Netball Nations Cup between January 20 and 22.
