Venue: The 2023 competition will be held at the beautiful Molade Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere.
The WTT Lagos will last for seven days, with the first day of the event slated for Monday. It will be held from June 12 to Jun 18, 2023.

Nigerians set to make history as World Table Tennis Contender in Lagos
The Molade Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium will host the WTT Contender, which is slated for June 12–18.
The qualifying draw will be held on the first three days of the competition before the main draw takes over.
5 African countries are in Lagos
A total of 25 countries will face each other, with five of them from the African continent.
The five countries are host Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, and Algeria.

There will be five (5) disciplines

The other two disciplines are Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

The 2023 WTT Lagos will see the players compete for honours with $75, 000 up for grabs.
A breakdown of the prize money shows that both the winner of the men’s and women’s singles will take home a $5, 000, with $2, 500 for the finalists.
$1500 awaits the semifinals while $1025 will be given to players who make it to the last eight.
