The tournament is organized by the Junior Golf Foundation (JGF) in partnership with NCBA Bank.
Over one hundred and fifty (150) junior golfers have confirmed participation at the first leg of the 2023 Interschool Golf Tournament scheduled for tomorrow, March 31 at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club.
The non-handicapped event will kick off at 7.00 am, and the young golfers will take to the course in a bid to emerge champions in the different age-appropriate categories.

The Junior Golf Foundation president Regina Gachora confirmed talks are underway to find a new date.
The juniors are drawn from 19 schools around Nairobi and its environs. They include Kiota School, Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi, Limuru Children's Centre, Braeside Primary School, Kenton College, Rosslyn Academy, Braeburn School- Gitanga Road and Premier Academy.
Others are Oshwal Junior High, Braeburn Garden Estate, St. Austen's Academy, St. Ruth School, Makini Cambridge, Light Academy, Swedish School Association, Crawford International School, Montessori Learning Centre - Prep, Nova Pioneer and Garden Brook School.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Junior Golf Foundation President Regina Gachora noted that the tournament seeks to provide the youngsters with a platform to showcase their skills.
"A tournament like this is essential in developing the golfing talents of young people. It exposes them to multiple opportunities to compete on a global scale,” Gachora said.

After Saturday's event, the tour will move to Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club on April 2.
Meanwhile, NCBA’s Group Director of Marketing and Communication Nelly Wainaina expressed her excitement to being a part of the first leg of the tournament.
“We hope that this tournament will inspire more young people to take up golf and pursue it as a professional career that will also benefit them personally,” she added.
The next scheduled Interschool Golf Tournament event will be held on May 26 at the same venue.
