The World Lacrosse Men's championships are upon us yet again as Uganda bids to make a second appearance at the global showpiece.
Uganda, who will be represented by a 26 man squad at the championships in San Diego, California, USA, booked their slot after they edged Kenya 9-8 at a continental qualifier in January 2023.
Head coach Patrick Oryana states that it's a great feeling to be at the championships and that Uganda is going to San Diego to compete, despite the tough pool they've been grouped in.
"It's an exciting experience; we've been working on things like team plays, skill level and physical ability, so for me, we're well prepared,”he noted.
"That said, it's a tough group, but we're going to take it game by game.”
Uganda is pooled in group B alongside Japan, Wales, Denmark and France.
