The documentary "Stylebender," which stars current UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya, had its world debut on Sunday, June 11, at the Tribeca Film Festival.
The combat sports athlete, a Nigerian-New Zealander, first broke the news on Twitter.
Notably, Israel Adesanya won the middleweight championship in the main event of UFC 287, held at the Kaseya Center in Miami on April 8, when he submitted Brazilian Alexsandro Pereira in the second round.
He exacted revenge for his three previous defeats against the Brazilian fighter in two different promotions with this massive triumph.

He put out a statement about the film that said, “This film will showcase sides of me never before seen.
"I am a very private person with my personal life, so being vulnerable on here hits different. Can’t wait for you to see it xo”
Adesanya on Netflix
Adesanya recently expressed interest in streaming giant Netflix being the top bidder for his well-received documentary on Twitter.
He tweeted that he hopes Netflix will purchase the rights since he thinks it's a potent film that will motivate young men everywhere.
He wrote, "@netflix , please be the highest bidder for my documentary. Young men need to see this film."
Israel Adesanya discussed "Stylebender" in-depth on the most recent episode of the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul on June 6 where he also talked about spirituality and God.
Adesanya continued by telling Paul that his documentary will appeal to people of both sexes while emphasizing the necessity for men to view it.
He was quoted as saying, “It's coming out in [the] Tribeca film festival, June 11. It's a documentary about my professional life so far and a little bit of my childhood. I've watched the film twice now.”
"Stylebender" is directed by Zoe McIntosh, known for the films Dark Tourist from 2018 and The Deadly Ponies Gang from 2013.
