Leicester City forward Patson Daka sank the Cranes with a brace, while Fashion Sakala added the other in Dubai on Tuesday.
And Muhangi took to his social media handles to satirise the results.
"Hard luck, Uganda Cranes next time better?" he questioned as though he were expressing empathy.
It was the second successive defeat for the Cranes, who had lost against Mali 1-0 four days back in Bamako.

Despite pressure to have his name scrapped, Uganda Boxing Federation president Moses Muhangi has been included among the nominees for the Africa Boxing Confederation (AFBC) presidency.
"The Sports budget is approximately 48 billion; FUFA takes 17 billion per year," he started on his social media handles.
"27 federations, including baseball, each are allocated 10 million per year," Muhangi added.
The latter has also, time and again, verbally clashed over the same reasons with FUFA President Moses Magogo.
