NBS Sport, Uganda’s premier sports network, will air exclusive live coverage of International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach’s visit to Uganda from October 22-24, 2024. This visit is part of Bach’s farewell tour, which includes stops in five African countries.

Joe Kigozi, General Manager of NBS Sport, emphasized the importance of the visit, stating, "His visit is a milestone for Ugandan sports, especially given our outstanding performance in track and field."

Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) President, Donald Rukare, echoed these sentiments, expressing the UOC’s excitement in hosting Bach.
Bach’s visit will include meetings with athletes, Olympians, sports leaders, and government officials. Additionally, he will visit the Game Connect Project, which promotes refugee participation in sports through the Olympic Refugee Foundation.
