Djokovic has been in incredible form since the start of the tournament, overcoming his hamstring problems in his past three matches, to book his spot in the final and aim for his tenth Australian Open title.
Starting the first set, It was an odd first ten minutes from Djokovic after completely dominating till 5-1, Paul came back on serve at 4-5. A set point to 5-5, then Djokovic will see off the set 7-5.

Coming back in the second set, Djokovic was ruthless going 6-1 up and winning eight of his last nine games. With just one set away from reaching his tenth final, he won it convincingly 6-2.
His win means the Serb has never lost a semifinal or a final in Melbourne, and it's his 33rd Grand Slam final, improving his all-time record and moving to joint second alongside Serena Williams but behind Chis Evert (34).

Also, Djokovic now has the longest men's singles main draw winning streak at the Australian Open in the Open Era (27 matches since 2019), eclipsing Andre Agassi's 26 matches between 2000 and 2004.
For the second straight Slam final, the world No. 1 will be on the line, and between two different players.
The ATP world No. 1 will no longer be Carlos Alcaraz by Monday, as whoever wins between Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final will take the spot.

In his post-match interview on his clash with Tsitsipas, Djokovic said, "Tsitsipas is one of the most interesting guys on tour, with his interests off the court, his hairstyle and all."
The 33-year-old is one win away from a 22nd Grand Slam title and the world No. 1 spot again.
