In a tense and high-quality final, Aryna Sabalenka defeated 2022 Wimbledon Champion Elena Rybakina 4-6 6-3 6-4 - to become the 2023 Australian Open women's singles champion.
The Belarusian came from a set down to claim her maiden Grand Slam title and maintain her unbeaten start to the 2023 season 11-0.

On her fifth double fault, Sabalenka was broken again, allowing Rybakina to put herself in a good position to serve for the first set at 5-4.
