The Nairobi court has quashed the implementation of the talent initiative after a petitioner claimed that the rights of those it meant to benefit will be infringed.
He said that the government is the main anchor of the initiative and that they are willing to partner with corporates around to ensure that the initiative runs seamlessly.
Namwamba also revealed that the final destination for the talented sportspeople is the Kenya Academy of Sports and the ministry is determined to keep the conveyor belt, with the ultimate goal of monetising the talents.
