A dynamic loose forward, Monate also has an inspiring backstory that we can’t wait to share with you. For now, we look forward to seeing him in New York colours.”

Akuei previously played for New York Old Blue before joining the Major League Rugby, a semi-professional rugby union competition for-profit franchise clubs in North America.
