Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) women's Super League side Twinkle Hockey Club president Desmond Boi has great ambitions for the four-months old club and hockey in Kenya at large.
Boi revealed that he wants hockey in Kenya to be given attention just like top tier Premier League football clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea.

Twinkle is the first hockey club in Super League to own a van.
“We want hockey in Kenya to be run like Arsenal and Chelsea are run,” Boi said.
He revealed that going forward, they want to mold players to have great skills that they are able to ply their trade abroad.
The team is entirely composed of young players from colleges and university as well as from high schools.
Boi, just like Mikel Arteta (current Arsenal football manager), wants to nurture young talent and they will be keen to give opportunities to as many youngsters as they can.
“When you have new signings, you unveil them to show that you can buy players for as much as Ksh1 million. This will also show that we can sell players for even as much as Ksh5 million because we have invested in these players.
