This week's episode of WWE Friday night SmackDown saw The Bloodline tested by familiar foes as Rey Mysterio became the first inductee into the Hall of Fame class of 2023.
The Bloodline still have business to deal with following Jey Uso’s return to the fold a week ago.
Ahead of WrestleMania 39, the Blue brand returned with even more drama this week as the number one contender for the undisputed universal championship Cody Rhodes squared up to The Usos.
However, the American nightmare had help from Sami Zayn. who always seems to get in the way of The Bloodline’s business.
Rhodes is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE universal championship at WrestleMania 39 and joined forces with Zayn to launch an attack on The Usos on Friday night.
Elsewhere, Rey Mysterio became the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2023 via an announcement on Friday.
WWE surprisingly named a regularly active performer to their Hall of Fame and the Legendary masked luchador is set to be inducted the night before WrestleMania 39.

Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn attacked The Usos

The Usos arrived at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and were immediately greeted by the Tribal chief’s advocate Paul Heyman.
Heyman informed Jey Uso how proud he and Roman Reigns was, that he finally returned to The Bloodline.
Heyman hugged Jey Uso but backed off when he read Jey Uso's body language before the latter told Heyman to inform Reigns that he had arrived.

Heyman, in a subsequent interview, expressed his frustration with Cody Rhodes for getting involved in The Bloodline's business when he rescued Zayn on Raw. He further admitted Rhodes was a bit of a problem for Reigns, but was later put to ease after Reigns brought up Rhodes' past failures.
An angry Jey Uso then explained to the audience why he chose The Bloodline over Zayn, saying that family always looks out for family.
Jey Uso also stated that he did not want to hurt Zayn, but that he must side with his own blood. Jey Uso who was shunned by the crowd then told the audience they have no idea what he is going through, while also blaming his former friend Zayn for his troubles and labelling him ‘selfish’.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso turned his attention to Cody Rhodeswith the impression that The Bloodline has allegedly rid themselves of Zayn.
Rhodes eventually came out to confront The Usos, allowing Zayn to slide into the ring unnoticed and attack Jey Uso.
A brawl subsequently broke out around the arena between the two parties but Rhodes and Zayn eventually put down The Usos to close out SmackDown.

The match was to determine the next challenger for GUNTHER's intercontinental title at WrestleMania 39.
However, it ended in a draw after both McIntyre and Sheamus scored pinfalls.
The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) defeated Braun Strowman and Ricochet via pinfall

Charlotte Flair defeated Shotzi via submission
GUNTHER shunned Adam Pearce for not finding a conclusive title challenger
