As the nominations start to roll in, Pulse is welcoming its Ugandan audience to select influencers from all categories who truly deserve the spotlight and recognition.
This year's awards, scheduled for October 7, 2023, are themed as "The Golden Era - Bold & Elegant." The categories span a wide array of fields, including sports.
The sports category seeks to honour personalities who are using their online platforms to influence sports, be it media personalities, fans, athletes, or individuals adept at telling captivating sports stories.
In an exciting addition to this year's categories, Pulse has introduced the 'Next Gen Influencer of the Year' category, promising to spotlight upcoming digital personalities.

An independent jury, including industry veterans John Ssenkeezi, David Balikuddembe, Jackie Namara, and Robert Sebunya, will curate the nominations, selecting the top 10 exceptional nominees to proceed to the voting stage.
The Pulse Influencer Awards, held concurrently in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, and Côte d'Ivoire, aim to celebrate the digital creativity, innovation, and community-building efforts of influential personalities in Uganda and the broader African continent.
In its first year, the Pulse Influencer Awards saw impressive participation, recording a staggering 200,562 votes across different categories.
This year, Pulse Uganda is set to host an even larger celebration, with a higher audience, influencer, and partner brand involvement.

How to Nominate
The nomination process is open, and will run until August 6. Fans are able to express their support for their favourite influencers by following these simple steps:
1. Visit the Pulse website through the link: bit.ly/pulseawardsug
2. Locate the nomination form on the website.
3. Follow the instructions provided and fill out the form accurately.
4. Click submit. Your nomination will then be officially registered.
