The wait is over as Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC are set to unveil a new head coach today, Pulse Sports Uganda understands.
It's a confirmed deal that the new tactician is a Brazilian native, and the official announcement is slated for today.
This comes over a week since the departure of former head coach Alex Isabirye, who left after delivering the club's first-ever domestic double.
The coach will be the second Brazilian to coach the Kitende side after Robertinho Oliviera, who guided them to the group stage of the 2023 CAF Champions League before departing for Simba SC in Tanzania.
They were at one time also coached by Roberto Luiz Bianchi Pellister a Spanish - Brazillian
Since Isabirye's departure, Vipers have been under the stewardship of Congolese Raoul Lukusa Kayembe, who was unveiled as an assistant coach.
Kayembe has been working closely with Richard Wasswa and goalkeeping coach ibrahim Mugisha
