The Nigeria Cup, which has been played annually since its inception in 1997, is one of the most coveted events in Ikoyi Club 1938 and Nigeria as a whole.
The annual Nigeria Cup, a competition held to commemorate the anniversary of the country's independence, will be as exciting as ever this year, according to its organizers.
Akoni Olayinka Olafimihan, the chairman of the organizing committee for the 2023 Nigeria Cup, stated that he and his team are putting in a lot of effort to ensure that this year's Nigeria Cup proceeds according to schedule.
He contends that the tournament this year takes place during a trying period in the history of the country and that, despite the nation's disagreements, the ultimate objective should be to promote togetherness among Nigerians.
In order to do this, the committee selected "Fostering Unity Through Golf" as the competition's theme this year.
