Scott Oluoch gave the visitors the lead with the game's first try, but Ofoyrwoth missed the extras. John Echeru converted two more penalties as Mugisha touched down to restore the information for Hippos, but Heathens were awarded a penalty try to take a 15-14 lead at halftime.
Nobert Okenyi, Oluoch and Ssebuliba added three tries for the Heathens to win the game 32-24.
Echeru converted a penalty to add on Yasin Waiswa's try and conversion, but not enough to get the result the hosts craved. Aziz Khan was voted the unmatched player of the day.
Another Jinja side, Walukuba Barbarians, stunned Rams to win their first game of the season. The Barbarians stood tall and brave to scrap a 16-11 result ahead of the Jinja derby next week.
