Willy Ambaka's wife has narrated how she came to Kenya with the hope of staying for three weeks but her extension led to meeting the love of her life and she never looked back since then.
Willy Ambaka’s wife, Nadja Ndayara has opened up on the time she came to Kenya with the hope of staying for a short time but ended up overstaying after meeting the rugby star.
Ndayara, speaking to Sport On, explained that she was in Kenya to visit some family members and decided to extend her stay, not knowing that she would later on meet the love of her life.
“I came to visit some family here in Kenya, my aunt was moving from Ethiopia to Kenya and I was supposed to stay here for three weeks and enjoy a nice holiday with her and then go back to Serbia, where I actually come from.

The Serbian goddess also noted that she had no clue about the sports played in Kenya and did not know of Ambaka as an accomplished sportsperson until they hung out and had deeper conversations.
In Serbia, she noted that there were other famous athletes but rugby was not a big sport hence she did not follow the sport.

“Interestingly, I had no clue of the sport that he did. In Serbia, rugby is not a big sport but we have other famous athletes and sports personalities, there is volleyball, tennis, you know, all these things, name it, but rugby is not one thing that I knew anything about so when I got to Kenya I was wondered what sport he played.
“But ultimately, I came to learn that was his profession and that was quite interesting and I think to a certain extent that’s what made it so much easier to get to know each other because we really started from scratch and I had no clue about his life and what he was doing,” she said.
After they started dating, Ndayara was in a great position to go and watch Ambaka play in Harlequins and also during the HSBC Series in 2022.
