Massa has emphasized the need for Pirates to stay focused until the final whistle to avoid letting the game slip out of their hands.
As the Nile Special Rugby Premier League season comes to an exciting end on Saturday, the limelight will shine on Kobs and Stanbic Black Pirates, the two teams fighting for the title.
Victory for either side will be enough to land the title ahead of the other.
Kobs are on top of the log but tied on 75 points with their visitors after 17 games.
And while Kobs are looking to lift their 14th league trophy, Pirates are in search of only their second, having won their first in 2018.
Pirates captain Isaac Massa believes it is the right time for the Sea Robbers to write their own history and close the gap between themselves and the other two top sides.
“These teams (Kobs and Heathens) are more established, but we can change things,” Massa said ahead of Saturday’s game.
“We are starting to change the history, and I expect tomorrow to be a good day for us,” he added.
The two teams in the title race have been brilliant all season, but one will walk away empty-handed after the final whistle.
And depending on the result of the game involving the Heathens and Rams, the loser at Legends could end the season in third place.
Stay focused
Massa has also emphasized the need for Pirates to stay focused until the final whistle to avoid letting the game slip out of their hands.
Kobs captain Ian Munyani scored a late try to win the game for Kobs when the two sides met at King’s Park in the first round.

RUGBY Kobs winger Mark Osuna says there are no excuses ahead of title decider
Osuna and Kobs will have the opportunity of lifting the title when they host second-placed Stanbic Black Pirates at Legends on Saturday.
“We didn’t keep our focus till the final whistle then, but now there’s no room for error.
“We have to keep fully focussed for the entire game.
“I know sometimes in a game we lose track when you feel like you have already secured the game.
“In this game, we cannot afford to make such a mistake, so we are going to make sure we stay focused until the final whistle and make sure everything goes in our favour.”
Massa and the Pirates can only win the league by beating Kobs, and having done a double against the Blue Army last season; they will be looking to avoid Kobs doing the same to them this time.
