The Fiji-born star feels his side made many mistakes in Saturday’s action and they will have to be at their best in Sunday’s knockout matches
Kabras Sugar star Jone Kubu is not impressed with his side’s display despite winning all their group games to advance to the Cup quarter-final of the Prinsloo Sevens in Nakuru on Saturday.
Kubu managed two tries and a conversion, the first arriving as Kabras beat Homeboyz 19-7 in their group opener, before following it up with a 31-7 thrashing of Kakamega rivals Western Bulls and summed it by beating Kisumu RFC 24-12, when the Fiji-born star touched down for a second time in Nakuru.
The win saw Kabras finish top in Pool A and sail through to the quarter-finals and even as his side remain among the favourites, Kubu is still not happy.
“We’ve made so many errors today, we are trying our very best to try and bring in all those from outside so that we can go and rectify our mistakes from today’s games moving to tomorrow’s cup finals,” Kubu told Pulse Sports.

Kabras have started the season well, reaching the finals in the opening two legs, losing to KCB at Dala Sevens, before beating Menengai Oilers at Driftwood, form that Kubu credits to good preparations.
“Just our preparations, how we prepare, how we manage our bodies because it is one of the most important things how we manage our recovery,” he added.
