The Kenya national men’s sevens side Shujaa completed their Olympics campaign on a high with a win over Samoa to finish ninth in the playoff clash that took place at the Saint Dennis stadium in Paris on Saturday.
John Okoth landed the first try for the Kenyans after they managed to toil their way through the mean Samoa defence, although it was not well converted.
The Kenyans continued laboring away, winning all their counterracks and being defensively resolute, and it was enough to give them the lead heading into the break.
