“Mentally and physically, we are ready and have tried to correct our mistakes ahead of the final game,” Osuna told the press.

RUGBY A desirous team and finer margins will determine the winner – Marvin Odongo
The Nile Special Rugby Premiership goes on the wire, and the winner between Pirates and Kobs on Saturday will be crowned champions.
“We have prepared well and are good to go,” he added.
Kobs top the ten-team log with 75 points from 17 games and have been a high-scoring side all season.
However, all that will count for nothing if Brian Makalama’s charges fail to get a result in the last game of the season.
“We know what is at stake, and everyone is more than prepared for the game.
“It’s been a good season, and the scores can tell.
“And now our Sevens boys are back with us, so I don’t think we should have any excuse.”
The top two sides are separated by points difference, with Kobs in the driving seat and needing to avoid defeat on the last day of the season.
Pirates are still unbeaten since that 30-25 loss to Kobs in the first round and go into the fixture with a bit of momentum after an encouraging 08-06 win over Platinum Credit Heathens in the second round.

RUGBY When Kobs and Pirates met in a title decider
Pius Ogena’s try was the icing on the cake as Kobs celebrated their first league title since 2016.
The last time the two sides met on the last day of the season, Kobs won 15-05 and went on to lift the title in 2021.
But Pirates did a double over Kobs last season and will be confident of picking a result on the road again, this time with a league title on offer in a winner-takes-it-all situation.
