The two giants share sixteen titles between them, with Heathens enjoying a lion’s share with their eleven titles.
In what looks like a rather unusual occurrence, the 2023 Nile Special table leaders Kobs will have an early titanic clash against Heathens in Group A of the Kyadondo circuit.
The tournament will be held at the weekend of August 12th and 13th at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
The two giants share sixteen titles between them, with Heathens enjoying a lion’s share with their eleven titles.
Heathens’ recent dip in form saw them crush out of the main cup and had to settle for the second-grade Challenger Cup.
The two will launch their rivalry in the group stages alongside Rams and one of the invitational teams.
Group B will have Mongers, who staged a stunning show to finish second in Tooro last weekend with Impis and two invited teams.
Holders Hippos will battle Rhinos, Warriors and an unranked team while D has Buffaloes, Walukuba, Black Pirates and one invited team.
