Uganda Sevens head coach Tolbert Onyango has named the team that will represent Uganda in this year’s World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series at the Markotter Stadium in Stellenbosch, South Africa, from April 20-22.
The Uganda squad has been camped at the Stellenbosch Academy of Sports for over two weeks in preparation for this tournament.
And with the action starting Thursday, Onyango read out 13 players expected to suit up for Uganda this weekend.

Allan Olango and Aaron Tukei are the debutants on the team that also features Jinja Hippos’ pair of Timothy Mugisha and Denis Etwau.
Adrian Kasito, Desire Ayera, Alex Aturinda, Aaron Ofoyrwoth, William Nkore,, Timothy Kisiga and Nobert Okeny are the other players selected.
Uganda is drawn in Pool C with Korea Republic, Jamaica, and Brazil.
Action will stretch for three days, starting Thursday up to Saturday.
Uganda’s campaign will kick off with two games against Brazil and Jamaica on Thursday.
