The Sea Robbers completed a rare league double over the Platinum Credit Heathens last weekend which also moved them above the Kyadondo-based side on the table.
The Stanbic Black Pirates’ Jones Kamiza is as positive as it gets with his side as the business end of the Nile Special Rugby Premiership nears.
The Sea Robbers completed a rare league double over the Platinum Credit Heathens last weekend which also moved them above the Kyadondo-based side on the table.
Kamiza says the mental strength that got them going against the Heathens is what will be required in the remaining games of the season.
“Our focus is on winning all our games because it is a tight race; the Heathens win was more of a mental game, our defence was excellent, and our game management was up there,” Kamiza told Pulse Sports.
“For me, that’s the exact mentality we need to have to start with Mongers this Saturday and finish the season strong.”
The utility back is a product of the Sailors team, Pirates’ reserve side, alongside Arnold Aturinda, Solomon Banawa and Moses Olupot, some of the players who were promoted to the senior team, and they haven’t disappointed.
