The Stanbic Black Pirates continued their unbeaten run in the Nile Special Rugby Premiership with a 43-12 victory over the Plascon Mongers on Saturday afternoon at the Busambaga grounds in Entebbe.

Alex Aturinda scored three tries, while Sydney Gongodyo, Umar Duff and Timothy Kisiga each crossed the white line once for the Bweyogerere-based outfit.

Skipper Ivan Magomu had his scoring boot on with five conversions and a penalty.

Pirates coach Marvin Odongo told Pulse Sports that his side should have been more clinical after that game.

"I thought we could have scored a lot more. But, unfortunately, we weren't clinical in the first half," he stated.

Plascon Mongers, who scored four penalties in the game, have now lost thrice and won as many games this season.

The win takes the Stanbic Black Pirates to 22 points, closely followed by second-placed Kobs on 20 points.
