The Nile Special Rugby 7s season is a few days away, and teams like the Plascon Mongers are putting the final touches to their preparations.
The Entebbe-based side unveiled their new kit ahead of the NileSpecial 7s circuit season on Tuesday at the Plascon head offices in Kampala.
Mongers 7s head coach Tusiime Trevor revealed that his charges are better prepared, especially physically, ahead of the circuit, adding that the target overall remains a semi-final finish.
"Right after the 15s season, we went back to the drawing board and jumped in the 7s training to work on our physicality, an area we lacked during last season's 7s circuit," Tusiime told Pulse Sports.
"We have since conditioned well in the gym and at Botanical beach gardens, so we're ready; we hope to gel our experience and the creativity of the young lads to get results."
"Our motive is to finish at least in the semi-finals and win at least two circuits, which is achievable."
Mongers finished 8th overall on 36 points during last season's 7s circuit, which Kobs claimed on 83 points.
