“GOOD NEWS!!! To all concerned parties, rugby fans, players and friends, we would love to let you know that the surgery has been a success and Jude is in the recovery process,” Rams posted on their twitter page.
“Doctors are doing their best to make sure he stabilises, and we thank you for the prayers and generosity,” the tweet added.
Rams had also launched a campaign requesting people to make financial contributions towards the medical bill, which stood at Ugx 5M at the time of the surgery.
About Ugx 2.66M had been raised with a balance of Ugx 2,340,000, requiring more contributions to be made.
