Round seven of the Nile Special Rugby League returns on Saturday as the Platinum Credit Heathens take on the Rams, among other fixtures.
The Platinum Credit Heathens Captain Michael Wokorach has only one thing on his mind, to help his side maintain the winning momentum even though they face a struggling Rams side.
“We had a comfortable win last weekend and want to keep the momentum going. We will try to apply the same game plan as we did against Impis, but we won’t take the Rams for granted.”
The Rams are winless in six outings but have managed a draw, and Wokorach adds that Heathens need to be solid in defence but score as many points as possible.
“We want to get as many points as possible because the league could come down to who has scored more and conceded less, so we shall try to be tighter in our defence.”
As the Heathens battle against the Rams, arch-rivals Kobs will be taking on Pirates, but the captain of the national seven stressed that they don’t care what happens at Kings Park.
“We know the big game that will be going on as well, but we can only do our job, which is winning.”
The Platinum Credit Heathens are third on the standings on 25 points, one behind second-placed Kobs and three behind table leaders Stanbic Black Pirates.
