Iwobi received harsh criticism from fans of the Merseyside club for his part in Jamie Vardy's goal during the first half of their match against Leicester.
Vardy was let through on goal immediately after Leicester tied the game, and after giving the ball to James Maddison, the seasoned forward went around Jordan Pickford to score into an empty net.
