There were no goals in the first half, but in the 71st minute, Ryan Christie's excellent first-time shot into the top corner gave Bournemouth the lead after a well-executed corner.
With twelve minutes remaining, Bournemouth was given a penalty kick for Raya's tackle on Evanilson.
Kluivert stepped up and converted the penalty kick and seal the win.
The Gunners stay in third place and squandered the opportunity to top the league.

Following the defeat, Saliba and Howard Webb rose to the top of the trends on social media.
Supporters of Arsenal questioned if PGMOL boss Webb was involved in Saliba's dismissal from the game.
Arsenal fans took to Social media suggesting foul play after the Frenchman was dismissed against Bournemouth after a VAR review.
Referee Rob Jones' first ruling of a yellow card was overturned because Saliba was found to have committed a foul that prevented a goal from being scored.

Saliba will miss Sunday's Premier League match against Liverpool due to the red card.
This season, Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard were sent off against Brighton and Manchester City, respectively, making this the third red card an Arsenal player has received.
