Saka wraps up Nigerian visit meeting Governor Sanwo-Olu, excited to connect with roots.
British professional footballer of Nigerian descent, Bukayo Saka has expressed his excitement visiting the west African country.
To wrap up his trip, Saka met with the two-term governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday, June 3.
The meeting between Saka and Governor Sanwo-Olu came after the Arsenal star landed spontaneously at Lagos' Murtala Muhammed International Airport on May 31, 2023.

Saka born to Nigerian immigrant and raised in the UK, was always expected to play for the Super Eagles, but he chose to represent England instead.
The Arsenal man visited Bariga and was able to give out to an orphange to celebrate his visit to the country.
Saka then took to his official social media account to celebrate meeting with the Lagos State Governor.
Along with photos from the meeting was a message that said, "It was great to meet and talk with His Excellency @jidesanwoolu "Thank you for the invite."
