Christy Ucheibe will continue her career at Benfica after signing a new contract until 2026.
The Super Falcons star started the Supertaca de Portugal de Futebol Feminino final for Benfica against Sporting Lisbon.
There were no goals in the first half but Francisca Nazareth gave Benfica the lead in the 55th minute.
Andrea Norheim equalized for Sporting Lisbon in the 73rd minute as they proceeded to extra time.
There were no goals in additional 30 minutes and the game proceeded to penalties.
Sporting missed all their spot kicks while Benfica made all three penalties to win the game and be crowned Super Cup champions.
Named in the starting lineup, Ucheibe featured 90 minutes of regulation and 30 minutes of extra time.

Over a week ago, Ucheibe played a crucial role for her side, Benfica as they made their place to the final.
Ucheibe was on the bench but came on as Benfica came back from a 3-1 deficit to equalise and send the game to penalties.
In the shoot-out, Braga missed their first two, and Benfica made all three to start.
Ucheibe was given the responsibility to take the fourth penalty and stepped up to convert in style and win the game for Benfica.
Christy Ucheibe, Super Falcons and World Cup
Ucheibe played all four games as the Super Falcons finished ranked 10th out of 32 teams at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Following her return from the World Cup, Ucheibe visited Abia State Governor Alex Otti.
Ucheibe put out a statement about her meeting with the governor on her official social media platforms.
The post includes photos of Ucheibe presenting Governor Otti with Super Falcons and Benfica jerseys.
Christy Ucheibe, who recently signed a contract with Portuguese giants Benfica, is now expected to play a hige role this season.
Ucheibe celebrates Super Cup title with Benfica
Following the victory, Ucheibe took to her official social media platforms to celebrate the first title of the season.
She put out photos celebrating holding the Super Cup trophy.
Along with the photos was a message that said, "GOD DID IT AGAIN! ALL GLORY TO YOU LORD👑
"TO ALL THE BENFIQUISTA FAMILY THANK YOU FOR YOUR ENDLESS SUPPORT AS ALWAYS MUCH LOVE ❤️
"SUPERTAÇA 🏆✅ WORK CONTINUES LET’S GO BENFICA"
Ucheibe, who recently extended her contract until 2026 is now expected to return to action when Benfica takes on SCU Torreense in a league fixture scheduled for Sunday, September 17, 2023.
