According to Pinnick, a FIFA executive who played at the event in Delta, the "Timeless" hitmaker received $94,600.
On October 6, a performance commemorating musicians from the Niger Delta was scheduled.
A variety of performers, including AY Makun, Pheelz, Spyro, Fireboy DML, Destalker, and Pheelz, gave performances throughout the evening.
It seems that Davido had previously declared his intention to attend the event despite not being a performer.
Speaking at the occasion in Pidgin, Pinnick claimed that a chartered plane was organized to take the artist to Warri, which cost the state an additional $18,000.
He asserted that Davido was ultimately replaced by Shallipopi by the event planners.
