Everton midfielder Dele Alli frankly discussed difficult moments in his life as he cried with Gary Neville .
While on loan at Turkish club Besiktas, the 27-year-old player had a long-term injury and had to take a break from the game.
The former England midfielder and assistant coach, though, broke down in tears while appearing on an episode of Neville's The Overlap as Alli recalled a string of traumatic incidents from his youth.
The former Tottenham player said that he started dealing drugs at the age of eight after being abused when he was six and was later adopted at the age of twelve.

Alli started off explaining that he was molested by a friend of his mum
He said, "At six, I was molested by my mum's friend, who was at the house a lot, my mum was an alcoholic.
"I was sent to Africa to learn discipline, and then I was sent back seven I started smoking.
"I started dealing drugs selling drugs selling drugs yeah an older person told me that they wouldn't stop a kid on a bike.
"So I'd ride around with my football, and then underneath I'd have the drugs."
In the extensive part of the interview, Dele Alli, explained that the issues led to him smoking and taking alcohol at a very young age.
Dele Alli came through the ranks as a talented football player and represented England's senior national team.
Dele Alli has since struggled in recent seasons, according to Neville, and is working his way back to the top.
