The charity match will be the launch of the Troost Ekong Foundation.
The match will be at the Godswill Akpabion Stadium on Saturday, June 2, 2024.

Ekong's right leg's biceps femoris ruptured, meaning he will miss the remainder of the season.
On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in Finland, Ekong underwent a minor surgery.
Troost-Ekong was hurt during Super Eagles' second group match at the AFCON 2023 against Côte d'Ivoire.
Troost-Ekong persevered despite the injuries, leading the Eagles to the championship game, where they were defeated 2-1 by the Ivory Coast.
Ekong's charity comes just before the Super Eagles of Nigeria World Cup qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
