Cristiano Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro, has quashed reports of a relationship stifling between the Al Nasser star and lover, Georgina Rodriguez.
Media reports, especially in April, alleged the striker was 'fed up' with the Spanish model and was headed for a bitter split, despite the pair having two children together.
But, the 68-year-old mum dismissed any suggestion the footballer's relationship with Georgina was on the rocks.
" It's lies," she said to the press covering an event she had been invited to open a shop in her native Madeira, in Portugal, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
'It's all lies. Every couple argues, but what's been written is a lie," Dolores added.
At the peak of the rumours towards the end of April, Rodriguez dismissed them with rage through her hugely followed Instagram.
"The jealous one invents a rumour, the gossipy one spreads it, and the idiot believes it," she stung.
A few days later, Cristiano, 38, posted a photo on his Instagram, Facebook and Twitter showing him kissing the model as they shared a meal.
Ronaldo and Georgina met in 2016 at the Gucci Store where she worked in Madrid, and the pair have since been together. While Ronaldo has five children, he shares two with the Spanish Influencer.
