The “KCCA FC Day” slated for Friday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo is currently the talk of town among the club's faithful.

The fete is set to have a number of activities, including unveiling the 2023/24 squad to KCCA FC stakeholders, a football match, and entertainment.
"First, the event is a way for the club to connect with its fans and supporters. KCCA FC has a large and passionate fan base, and the event will give fans a chance to come together and celebrate the club," said club CEO Anisha Muhoozi.

"The event is a way for KCCA FC to promote the club and its brand. The event will be a great opportunity for the club to showcase itself to a wider audience."
At the event, KCCA will play an international friendly match with Kenyan side Kakamega Homeboys, a precursor for the upcoming season.
The side will play in CAF Confederation Cup qualifiers in August and host Libya’s El Hilal in the first leg of the first preliminary round.
"KCCA FC chose Kakamega because both clubs have continental ambitions and will be a perfect test ahead of the CAF games that start in August."
“We want to give our fans and supporters a chance to come together and celebrate the club ahead of the 2023/24 season," Muhoozi added.
"The player unveiling event and the international friendly is an opportunity where we seek to elevate the game of football in the country."

The club has also confirmed musician Diana Namukwaya alias Spice Diana, will headline the event for entertainment.
"As icing on the cake, the combination of music and football is a catalyst to spice up the flavor to a wider community than our usual reach."
"Lots of entertainment has been lined up on the day and this will be headlined by top Ugandan artist Spice Diana who has been confirmed to perform for the fans on the KCCA FC Day."
While its the first time it's happening in recent years, the club has confirmed it will be an annual event.
